FEEDBACK to our Mind Body Bowen workshop has been extraordinary, with therapists putting learning into practice to help their clients in a new and profound way.
The workshop was held in Fife, Scotland and in London, part of a whirlwind European tour that saw instructors Margaret Spicer and Vianne Macbeth from Australia also visit Bulgaria and Ireland.
This specialist workshop focuses on the powerful connection between mind and body, with Bowen acting as a natural catalyst to release emotional trauma that can manifest in physical problems.
This was reflected dramatically in the emotional effects on those who attended this unique CPD course. Among them was Ranjeeta Bhatal who qualified as a Bowen Technique therapist earlier this year.
She told us: “As Margaret and Vianne carried out the treatment on each of us it seemed like we all had the same intense experience, feeling more in tune with our body.
“I already work a lot with energy and meditation and feel that our spiritual side is often overlooked. I was, therefore, excited to do this course which exceeded all my expectations,
“I have had clients coming to me laying bare their innermost worries and feelings and I wasn’t sure how to help them. The workshop demonstrated clearly the powerful connection between mind and body, and I now have the knowledge, and the confidence, on how to use Bowen in these circumstances.
“I absolutely recommend others to do this course if they have the opportunity.”
Bowen Training UK chairman Helen Perkins said the feedback to the workshop had been hugely positive. “We were delighted to welcome Margaret and Vianne as part of our overseas instructor programme.
“We intend to offer more courses of this kind in 2025 and would urge all Bowen practitioners around the UK to take advantage of these opportunities to enhance their skills, keep up their CPD training and most importantly, help their clients maintain good health.”
