Helen is a gifted complementary therapist and award-winning trainer whose teaching style is said to be ‘intuitive and supportive’. She qualified as a Bowen Technique practitioner in Australia in 1994 with Ossie Rentsch, who was himself taught by founder Tom Bowen.

An instructor since 2013, she runs a thriving practice while also devoting herself to teaching others. “I feel privileged to be able to inspire the next generation of Bowen therapists, especially as people seek ways of improving their health in a more holistic way,” she said.

Aftercare is important to Helen, who offers ongoing clinical supervision and 1-2-1 coaching to increase confidence and reinforce learning in a clinical environment. She volunteers in a hospice and offers her own accredited CPD training course for Bowen therapists wishing to work in the field of palliative care.

As a qualified tutor for adult further education, and holding a City and Guilds Vocational Assessor Award, Helen is well-able to identify and adapt to different learning needs while maintaining focus for the whole group. Her classes are held primarily in Peterborough and Highgate in London, and elsewhere by arrangement.
