Four decades of experience as a ‘hands on’ therapist has given Diane a unique perspective on the importance of maintaining a healthy mind and body. Trained in a variety of disciplines including Reiki, she discovered the Bowen Technique after struggling with a chronic frozen shoulder. Pain persisted despite her trying several therapies that gave no relief. She told us: “After three Bowen sessions the pain disappeared, and range of movement returned. I feel I was guided to the Bowen Technique and having such positive results I was moved to learn it for myself. “After my first day of training I never looked back and after 11 years as a Bowtech practitioner, for humans and dogs, qualifying as an instructor was a natural progression.” Diane believes Bowen has much more to offer and has its own valuable niche in the field of natural healing. “I feel privileged to have this opportunity to increase the numbers of Bowen Technique practitioners in the world.” As a tutor she strives to provide clear, methodical and patient instruction while making the learning experience enjoyable to develop confident, well trained and effective practitioners.
