Introduction to the Original Bowen Technique (Bowtech)

Join us for an enlightening and hands-on day to discover the wonders of this little-understood therapy. You will learn about its rich history, understand its practical applications and master some simple Bowtech moves. This workshop is suitable for health professionals, complementary therapists from all modalites as well as non-therapists. It does not qualify you to use Bowtech in professional practice.

This one-day introductory course is a stand-alone and purely optional. However, should you decide to enrol for full training, your £100 fee will be deducted from the beginners’ course.

Those wishing to enrol for full training are required to undertake a Level 3 course in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology (AP&P) which can be studied alongside or in advance. To help you decide, please download our free Prospectus.

We cover the history of the Bowen Technique combined with a mix of theory and practical hands-on experience, explaining the structures of the body and its response to this light touch therapy. By the end of the day, you should be able to explain how Bowtech works, perform some simple Bowen moves and understand how Bowtech can be safely applied.
