Claire has extensive teaching qualifications and experience within a variety of education sectors, including supporting students who have a variety of learning needs such as dyslexia.
She discovered Bowen while searching for relief from a shoulder injury; the results were so impressive she was inspired to become a Bowen Technique therapist herself, qualifying in 2011. This led her to become an instructor, which she considers ‘an amazing gift’ teaching Modules 1-6 to new students while helping clients to improve their health. “I am constantly fascinated at how effective and beneficial Bowen can be, and of course the capacity of the human body to heal itself,” she says.
Claire describes her classes as ‘relaxed, supportive and fun’, able to be adapted to those who may require individual support to enable success. She offers a variety of teaching methods including Google Classroom, and guest clients for practical work as well as students working on each other. She also offers a one-day Introduction to Bowen workshop, a great way to find out more and learn a few simple Bowen moves.
